Is training provided?
Yes. An onboarding session is held at launch, backed by short guides in the portal.
Can I use the portal on a tablet or phone?
Yes, roll call and grade entry are designed to work on small screens.
I teach at several schools. Do I need several accounts?
If the schools use Scolyne, you switch between them from the same account.
Grades and assessments
Can I change a grade that's already published?
Yes, until the term is closed. The change is notified and logged.
How do weightings work?
Each assessment has its own weighting. Averages are recalculated automatically.
Where do I enter report card comments?
In the Report cards tab, per student or in a table view for the whole class.
Classroom life
I forgot to take the register. Is that a problem?
You can complete it later in the day. The pastoral office gets a reminder if it's missed.
Can families message me at any time?
They can write, but you set your availability hours and notifications.
